TO AIR THE WINGS!

MANIFEST

Tango is an aesthetical reaction, a cosmogony of the spirit and a gaping wound caused by the obsessive sensеlessness of daily routine.

Laokoontango is reactionary aesthetics, spiritual cosmos, a daily healing obsession of the shamanic trance.

Tango is a radical resistance against the banality and madness of an empty mind, a moral protection against contemporary kitsch.

Laokoontango is an anti-reflexive reaction of the personal Ego against this spiritual wasteland, a creative alternative to every devalorized passion.

Tango is a deep penetration into the strata of the human soul, where the native vortex of that relaxing Duende** oscillates, shattering the horrors of civilization.

Laokoontango is a permanent Duende and not: CIA, FSB, Mossad, M16, Microsoft, The World Bank, The Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, NATO, Religious Fundamentalism, Vatican, CNN... an endless list of senseless word orders which is an outgrowth of the perversity of our civilization.

Tango is the indulgent muteness of words, the metaphysical expansion of our bodies, the cardinal spiral of movement, an alphabet of conscious contemplation.

Laokoontango is an offensive breath of conscious achievement; an open door for all dreams and wishes that went wrong; the space of revolution... in the field of planetary boredom.

Tango is the unbridled ecstasy of our own identity which is evoked to liberate us from the feudalism of our own history.

Laokoontango is a centrifuge of identity, the exalted game of muddy mythologies; the free style of those emerging from the bog of a molded way of life.

Tango is wrestled from our souls painful wail of loneliness; it is the barricade of our feelings against the social formalism and the key to the chains of interpersonal fear.

Laokoontango is a provocation to unite with the dangerous other, a preserved oasis of the expression of I can, the freedom to touch the entire world.

Tango is the vocation to leave the naphthaline coat of resignation and submission in the closet and to aggressively display the vivid jacket of passion which has wasted away from lack of use.

Laokoontango is the execution of the orthodox, dusty and lousy from the proxy flight, a brutal expansion of the liberated soul and the banished temperament and the visual orgy of challenge.

LAOKOONTANGO widely opens a window to air the wings!

*Laocoön or Laokoon (in Greek language: Λαοκοων)
  • In the ancient Greek mythology - Trojan priest who warned the Trojans not to accept the Greek wooden horse.
  • Practically the ordinary man who dared to make a stand against the will of the Gods to defend the truth and freedom; symbol for “rebel”, man who has opposed to the standards and the forced canons.
  • The statue of Laocoön and His Sons, also called the Laocoön Group, is a monumental marble sculpture, now in the Vatican Museums, Rome. The sculpture "Laokoon," at the Vatican Museums, was unearthed in 1506, but a new theory says it is a forgery by Michelangelo.

**Duende (in Spanish)
  • a ghost, an evil spirit
  • inspiration, magic, fire
